Sony has informed that it has initiated the production of four new series of portable computers VAIN FW, Z, SR and BZ. In all cases, laptops are based on Intel Centrino mobile platform 2 Montevina and use Intel Core 2 Duo from 45nm Penryn; screens have a choice of various types, ranging from 13.1 to have a product particularly portable  up to 16.4 for uses more professional (the latter cut is available only on the series FW). Always the FW mount between 3GB and 4GB of RAM, 320GB hard disk and, only for the most expensive, there is also a blue-ray drive.

The series Z has only cut bottom of the screen, but does not miss an HDMI input; mount 2GB of RAM and 250GB hard disk. The SR instead has a screen classic from 13.3 to be chosen 3GB or 4GB of RAM, 250GB hard disk. Finally, at least in the series BZ, is preserved the greatness standard 15.4 .

and not depart from the previous series listed characteristics.
