Gigabyte M912: ultraportable Tablet PC Advances ,UMPC

Gigabyte has decided to carve out its market share in the new world of ultraportatili with ‘M912, but with a march more than the various EeePC and Wind they deal with a Tablet PC.

It features a touch screen from 8.9 “and with resolution 1280 x 768 pixels that can easily turn to utlizzarlo in full freedom. The M912 is equipped with the Intel Atom 1.6 GHz, but, unlike the competition, will not have an SSD, but a traditional hard disk 2.5 “with a capacity of 120, 160 and 250 GB.

As Concerning the connections we have available 802.11g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, 3 USB ports and an SD card reader. Ultimately, it will be compatible with both Linux with Windows XP and the battery life should be about 4 hours.

Not yet know the availability and price, although the latter will be higher compared to other ultraportatili because of its nature Tablet.
