May 16th, 2008

LG has recently presented two new types, or rather two new forms of LCD screens with which it intends to attract the attention of new customers thanks to their particular characteristics.

The South Korean company has achieved elliptical LCD screens from 15 cm by 3.5 cm circular: both models can display 262,000 colors and have a viewing angle of about 160 degrees. Interesting will be their use for example in portafoto digital, mobile and, why not, in cars.

Currently, details are scarce, but will be officially presented next week to the CIS to be held in Los Angeles.
