iPhone in Italy with TIM and Vodafone

May 8th, 2008

After months of waiting too long Italy, along with nine other countries, will have its iPhone. The announcement was made both by TIM, Vodafone through brief communicated at the respective sites.

It is likely be released in June after WDCC to be held in San Francisco and should be version 2.0, namely 3G, partly because Vodafone does not have EDGE coverage (at least not in Italy).

Now there remains only hope that the price of gem is aligned with those of other states and especially that there are flat rates acceptable.
