The esoscheletro of Raytheon Sarcos: the first step towards the armor of Iron Man?

Stephen Jacobsen is the director of program development for Raytheon Sarcos (funded by DARPA) to achieve a esoscheletro can enhance muscle strength of the soldiers, prolungandone the duration missions, resistance to fatigue and heavy loads (one wounded, for example) and making it possible to improve efficiency through war shields, protections and the possibility of using heavy weapons which usually require the interaction between two or more soldiers.

Coinciding with the release of Iron Man (and, perhaps, to exploit the hyphe), Raytheon announced the latest developments of the project. According to statements, the development of this “battle suit” is going well, and the numerous tests needed before the official launch are giving positive results.
