Games on UMPC: controllers for amateur videogiocare on ultra-portable and umpc

With technological change and increasing power of UMPC and ultra-portable, the most famous games for PCs have started to invade the mobile field. Often, however, the small size of the keyboards of these platforms are an impediment to many games, in particular those most dynamic games of motor racing or fps (in first person shooter).

To resolve this problem, an enterprising modder Micro PC Talk presented his personal solution to play with a Vaio UX. Starting from a “Genius MaxFire Gamepad” (available at a price between 15 and $ 20, equivalent to 9 / 13 €), Danmiddle2 has created a pad to be included in the door for Compact Flash memory card in order to integrate the houses.

With this simple hack (which requires only a dummy compact flash), the user forum Micro PC Talk shows how to play Unreal Tournament 2004 without impediments keyboard and with a fluidity and precision comparable to that of household PC. After the jump find the video controller at work.
